Detailed Itinerary of your 1 day Mabira Forest Zip-lining Tour Uganda

Wake up early to enjoy your breakfast and after, leave your hotel in Kampala or Jinja ready to drive about 50kms starting from Kampala city or 20kms from Jinja city to Mabira Forest the only rain-forest in Central Uganda. Zip-lining in Mabira is one of a kind experience you can partake on Uganda safari and it is done in 2 shifts; in the morning and in the afternoon.

Arrive at Griffin Falls Camp then take a walk through the forest to start your 3-4 hours’ zip lining adventure with experienced zip-lining guide. Zip lining adventure also a nature walk to a point it is carried out on top of the tree and the existing 5 zip lines cover 250m across the scenic River Musamya. 

Since the zip-lines pass through a forest canopy, you stand a chance to enjoy incredible sight of varied mammal species including the red tailed monkeys, grey cheeked mangabeys, birds like the great blue Turacos, African fish eagles, sooty flycatchers, blue breasted kingfishers, dwarf kingfishers, olive bellied sunbirds, red bellied paradise flycatchers, palm nut vultures as well as view the scenic and roaring griffin falls.
