Detailed Itinerary for the 4 Day Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National Wildlife Safari:

Day1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to a Hotel in Entebbe/Kampala:

You will be welcomed to Uganda by a professional guide who will then drive you to a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for the evening and overnight.

The guide will then brief you about the 4 Day Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth Safari to prepare both your mind and body for the adventure ahead.

Please Note: This is based on clients/tourists arriving in Uganda via Entebbe Airport in the afternoon and beyond. If you are already in Uganda, then start from day2.

Day2: Travel from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park:

After your early morning breakfast your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or place of residence and you will embark on your journey to Lake Mburo National Park.

Our 4 Day Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth Safari adventure officially start with a visit to the Equator and then introduction to Uganda’s smallest savannah and the closest park to Kampala capital city of Uganda.

Your first stopover will be at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will do some experiments and take photos, relax and also get information about the equator.

Thereafter you will proceed to Lake Mburo national park where you will have your lunch from and after your lunch you will do an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo.

You will be able to see different aquatic animals from the boat, wildlife along the shores like hippos, and birds like the African fin foot, African skimmers, African fish eagle to mention but a few.

Game Drive in Lake Mburo

Later on in the day, you will return to the lodge for relaxing and in the evening, go for a game drive and some of the animals you will see are zebras, giraffes, water bucks, impalas, hyenas, leopards and lions etc. After return to the lodge for dinner and for the night.

Day3: Transfer from Lake Mburo National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast thereafter head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey is approximately 5 hours and it is very rewarding in terms on scenery and birdwatching.

The park is famous for tree-climbing lions, vast savannahs and variety of wildlife. You will have lunch from there and thereafter you will go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel whose water is infested with large sums of hippos and the Nile crocodiles.

The shores of Kazinga channel are also bird sanctuaries, it is where most birds gather for the rest of the day feeding and then in the evening they go back to the Maramagambo forest. Expect to spot pelicans, African skimmers, the king fisher’s, African eagles to mention but a few.

Later, you will head back to the lodge for relaxation at the lodge as you enjoy the peninsular and the beautiful scenery of the surrounding areas and also get ready for the next day’s departure.

Day4: Early Morning Game Drive Then Travel Back to Kampala.

Wake up very early in the morning and pack your breakfast then set out for an early morning game drive a good chance to catch up with the early morning risers.

When everyone is fully exhausted with taking pictures of wildlife and nature then we shall head out of the park and head straight to Kampala.

You will then have a stopover for lunch then continue with the your journey straight to Kampala. You will be dropped anywhere in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled evening flight hence marking the end of our 4 Day Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari.
